American actress Faye is of Scots-Irish, English and German descent who grew up on a farm. Her father John MacDowell Dunaway Jr. is an army officer and her mother Grace April is housewife.

Education


She graduated at the High School and took later education classes at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She switches to theatre arts during her study in Florida and moved to the Boston University, where she earned a degree in theatre in 1961. She took acting classes at the American National Theatre and Academy in 1962 and did four plays on Broadway over the next three years. She appeared for the first time on Broadway as the daughter of Thomas More in ''A Man for All Seasons'' in 1962.

Love and Relations

She had an short-term relation with stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce in 1963. She had an relation with ''Puzzle of a Downfall Child'' director Jerry Schatzberg from 1966 till 1968. She had an short-term relation with Warren Beatty in 1968 and had a relation from 1968 till 1970 with actor Marcello Mastroianni who was her co-star in ''A Place for Lovers''. She had an relation with actor Harris Yulin from 1970 till 1972 and married with Peter Wolf on 7 august, 1974. He was the lead singer of the rock group The J. Geils Band. The couple stays together until they divorced in 1979. She marries British photographer Terry O'Neill in 1982 until the couple divorced in 1987. The pair has one son named Liam who was born in 1980. Martial Arts


She's trained in martial arts by sensei Simon Rhee at the dojo in Los Angeles. She takes classes in martial arts forms as taekwondo, hapkido, alongside extensive trainings sessions in wing chung kung fu. She's also trained in the use of martial arts weapons.


Beauty Contests And Model Career

She competes at beauty contests also and could not leave Florida, before she won an beauty title. She was almost crowned as May Queen at the Leon High School in Tallahassee with six votes. She was voted runner up at the Miss University of Florida in 1959. She won finally her beauty crown when she was named Sweetheart of Sigma Chi.

Action Movie Career


She made her action movie debut as Milady de Winter next to Raquel Welch who plays the role of Constance Bonacieux in ''The Three Musketeers'' (1973). The young D'Artagnan (played by Michael York) arrives in Paris with the dream to become a king's musketeer. He encounters the eponymous heroes Athos (played by Oliver Reed), Aramis (played by Richard Chamberlain) and the arrogant Porthos (played by Frank Finlay). D'Artagnan helps the three musketeers with protecting the Queen (played by Geraldine Chaplin) against the villainous Cardinal Richelieu (played by Charlton Heston) and his followers Rochefort (played by Christopher Lee) and Milady.


She plays Milady de Winter and Raquel Welch plays the role of Constance Bonacieux again in the sequel ''The Four Musketeers'' (1974). D'Artagnan (played by Michael York) becomes Musketeer now while Cardinal Richelieu Richelieu (played by Charlton Heston) enlists Rochefort (played by Christopher Lee), in order to kidnap Constance (played by Julie Delpy). The Musketeers fight against Cardinal Richelieu's rebels, in order to save Constance.


She plays Susan Franklin in this story about an glass tower of 138 floors, the highest skyscraper in the world that was ever built in San Franscisco in "The Towering Inferno" (1974). Architect Doug Roberts (played by Paul Newman) visits his nearly completed skyscraper after a long vacation. Doug concludes at the official opening of the 135th floor that the wiring specifications not been followed, which results in several short circuits in the building. Fire chief Michael O'Hallorhan (played by Steve McQueen) watches the glass tower when fire breaks out on the 81th floor during the opening ceremony. The fire spreads rapidly and the fire chief starts with a mission impossible to extinguish the fire.


She plays Selena who is sent to earth, together with her niece Kara-El (played by Helen Slater) who is super heroine Supergirl in "Super Girl" (1974). The girls have the job to bring the power source ring of the community of Krypton survivors back. Kara-El notices on earth that her strength even powerful and super is. Super Girl dresses up as an American high-school student and the troubles begin when a madman finds the ring. Super Girl and Selene try to find the man while he discovers the power of the ring. 

She plays Atty.Gen.Navarro next to female action heroines Jennifer Tilly, Melora Hardin, Kathleen Quinlan and Rachel Hunter in ''El Padrino'' (2004). Manny (played by Ismael 'East' Carlo) is a successful drug dealer in the streets of East Los Angeles whose young son Kilo (played by Damian Chapa) yearns to follow in his footsteps. Kilo starts small with drugs dealing at the high school and college market when he discovers that drug business very profitable is. He becomes a drug kingpin with a nationwide drug monopoly, with help of the well-connected and seductive daughter of a Colombian gangster. He gets troubles when he kills a corrupt politician. He's caught by the FBI and it seems that an end comes to his exciting and stylish life. Life in prison does not stop him from running his operation, when he enlists the support of Crips, Bloods and other prisoners.

She plays Shin in this story where every person think that dinosaurs are extincted since the meteorite impact of 65 million years ago in ''Anonymous Rex'' (2004). The dinosaurs live among the people on earth with a ratio of one on the 10,000 people. No one knows that the dinosaurs have their own shadow government with its own laws. The dinosaurs also kill every human who crosses their path. Velociraptor Vincent Rubio (played by Sam Trammell) and Triceratops Ernie Watson (played by Daniel Baldwin) are two private dino investigators who are hired by Ernie's old girlfriend, in order to find out why her younger brother commited suicide. The investigators discover a dino cult named ''Voice Of Progress'' who has the plan  to reclaim the planet.


She plays Marilyn Burton and Amanda Brooks plays the lead role as the beautiful Patricia Burton who is smart and has lots of money in the action movie ''Cut Off'' (2006). Millionaire James Burton (played by Malcolm McDowell) is the father of Patricia who gives her a allowance of $ 20,000 a week. James gets a new girlfriend who is a year younger than his daughter. She convinces him to stop Marilyn's allowance, in order to keep it self. Patricia gets advice from her friend Pauly (played by Thomas Ian Nicholas) because she is not prepared to live without money. He has the idea to rob a bank that gives almost the same amount of money as she uses weekly.

She plays Governor Lillian Schaefer and Tiffani Thiessen plays the lead role as epidemiologist Dr. Kayla Martin who is working for the Center for Disease Control in ''Pandemic'' (2007). Unexplained flu-like symptoms kill a young man during a flight from Australia to Los Angeles. Dr. Kayla gets the task to investigate the lethal consequences of the unknown flu.

She plays Josephine Hayden and Bai Ling plays assassin Michelle who battles everyday with DNA Hackers who use their skills to hack into people's bodies, in order to kill them in ''The Gene Generation'' (2007). Michelle battles against the demons of her past and tries to keep her younger brother Jackie (played by Parry Shen) out of trouble. Jackie gets involved in petty crime as robbery and moves into the world of DNA Hackers, Loan Sharks and Gang Fights. He made enemies when he has cheated criminals in the underground trading market. The troubles start when he made enemies, after he has cheated criminals in the underground trading market. Michelle and Jackie find themselves battling between their lives and discover that love can still survive in the immoral world.
